About Jennifer Bonner:
Mrs. Bonner is a native of the Detroit area, but spent most of her adult life in Chicago. She holds a B.A. and a Masters in Educational Leadership.
As Director of the Twenty-First Century Community Learning Centers' after-school programming, Mrs. Bonner is a strong advocate for after-school programs. She has worked in this field for almost a decade. She is on the After-School Advisory Team for Michigan's 21st Century Community Learning Centers. Mrs. Bonner's tenure began with four sites which has now expanded to thirteen. Mrs. Bonner's program has been described as "exemplary" by state officials. Her goal is to continue advocating for after-school programs.
Personal Statement:
"I would like to thank all of my staff who have worked so hard to provide quality programs in our schools. I would also like to thank parents and students for all of their support throughout the years. I look forward to summer school and all the great opportunities for our children."
